MACH2 Finch's Peach Melba
Delight
Melba was a
gift for Kris's Mom and although she wanted a cream colored Pomeranian,
their were none available so she sent in Melba, a fiery Red Head.
Diane Finch described Melba as "Spritely" and sent her to the East Coast
to live with Kris's Parents.
At about six months old Kris's mother sent Melba to live with Kris for awhile so she could channel all her energy into something proactive. While hoping to have Melba be in the show ring, she turned out to be only 3 pounds however, an Agility Champion was in the making.
Melba is an agility trainer's dream. Melba earned her MACH2 on 11/25/06 at the Thanksgiving Cluster in Springfield, Massachusetts. Since earning 2 AKC Agility Championships, Melba's competition focus will now be on USDAA and Nadac. Melba is currently working in the Master's level in USDAA and is a few Chances Q's away from her Nadac Championship. The most difficult thing about Melba is she is constantly going. It's rare she stops getting into trouble and Kris always finds herself chasing after her. If Kris can't see Melba, that means she's getting into something. It is, however, difficult to give Melba back to her parents when she is done competing since Kris thinks of Melba as her own. Below are a list of Melba's Accomplishments:

Place 2003 All Star Dogs Championship Winner of
several local Performance Grand Prix's Melba has her Master Snooker Championship in USDAA and her Master Jumpers Championship. In Nadac she has her O-EAC, O-EJC - EGC - Outstanding Elite Standard, Jumpers and Elite Gamblers title
Melba
is a granddaughter of CH Finch's He Walks on Water, the most decorated Pomeranian in
history.

Melba
flew into Newark Airport at 12 weeks old originally as a show prospect
from breeder, Diane Finch. Upon arrival,
after a transfer in Chicago, Melba leaped from her crate as if to say,
"I'm Here, now train me." |
